For a long time I have wanted to make a picture that captured the mood of a winter afternoon/early evening, but was never satisfied with the results of my attempts. This time, however, I feel I have succeded. And it was done in only two relatively short sessions.

Like most of my other digital paintings, this was also made using only one layer and painting mainly like I would have done with traditional media.
